Released

Home home home... I've finally been released from the hospital, not sure for how long, but at least I get to come home to rest, sleep in my own bed. I've lost almost 20 lbs since the beginning of this whole ordeal, and Tunji has a mind to fatten me up before the next onslaught of more chemo and treatments.

Results from my most recent bone marrow biopsy is still unknown, so everything depends on that to see how much bad cells had been killed, and what kind of longer term planning the doctor will decide to have.

I feel mostly alright, but still feel easily tired. Not sure if I've mentioned this before, but these days I feel I have regressed to the stage of an infant, especially when I was in the hospital. I usually wake up (or get woken up) quite early in the morning, take a morning nap around 10am, then lunch, then have another nap in the afternoon, and by 8 or 9pm, I could barely keep my eyes open. It's so strange to live that way. It's like I was in an alternate universe living somebody else's life, in a controlled pod. It's just weird...

Well, it's new year's eve today, but I won't be partying anywhere other than sitting at home pretend to be a good little girl. Tunji has a gig with Johnno and Dave at the madhouse Irish pub in TST. Should be frighteningly rowdy...

Well, wishing everybody a very happy, safe, and healthy 2010! :)
