Sub tropical

Hong Kong, the big Lai Chi, geographically speaking, I was told, belongs in the sub tropical climate zone.  But you wouldn't know it if you were here these past few days, because it's been SOOOO freaking cold!

Of course, if you were just looking at the temperature, it reads something like 10 degree Celsius, or even as low as 8 degree Celsius, that equates to approximately 46 to 50 degrees Fahrenheit.  You may look at that and say, That's not cold at all!  And you may be right if you live in some other countries, but in these parts, you're also battling rain and humidity along with the cold temperature.  Take today, it's 10 degree C this afternoon with 88% relative humidity.  So what you get is that nicely chilled to the bone cold and damp.  In addition to that, most places here don't have indoor heating nor any real insulation.  So you just feel cold all day, all night, all the time, 24/7.  I only have one thing to say about all this... Sub tropical my eye!
